Successful first i-EDGE webinar

On 4 October 2023, the i-EDGE team organised its first webinar entitled “i-Edge” - a miniaturised rugged sensor/actuator platform!

During this event, which gathered key industrial stakeholders as potential customers for our innovative NEM switch technology, Prof. Dinesh Pamunuwa (University of Bristol), Piers Tremlett (Microchip Technology Caldicot Ltd) and Dr. Jens Bolten presented the technology developed within the project, as well as the plans for device realisation and its expected applications.

The webinar was a nice opportunity to receive feedback and critical advice from our potential end-users regarding the platform device requirements, the functional circuit blocks to be included in our next wafer run etc. as part of an interactive round table discussion.
